Welcome to my website and thank you for taking the time to visit. For the past 16 years I have served the people of Crook County as a commissioner. In that time my experiences have been many and varied. I was serving the community when the timber industry began to decline and our budget began to shrink. I have been a driving force in providing an economic balance between funds and needs of the citizens of Crook County. I am proud to have had the opportunity to help make Crook County a better place.
Anyone who has been involved in county politics knows you don't do it to get rich. You participate because you genuinely love the people and care about the land. When times were tough I chose to forgo a cost of living increase in salary because things were tight. I have traveled countless miles without seeking reimbursement, because I believe it is my duty as an elected official. I have made myself available to the people. Nights, weekends, holidays, it doesn't matter I consider myself always on call, not because of financial gain but because I care. I believe there is no room in county politics for self-serving motives.
In my years of service I have had the pleasure to work with two judges, five commissioners, community volunteers, employees of state and federal agencies, as well as senators and representatives. At this delicate juncture in Crook County's history I believe the county needs to elect someone with experience, who knows the issues, and who has proven time and again that they are here for the good of the county. It has been a pleasure to serve the citizens of Crook County, and if elected I will use my knowledge and 16 years of experience to help lead them into the future.
